This is gonna be a busy weekend.
Some bear denizens lounging at BEARTOWN's "Underbear" underwear party.
Just to recap this last week, the bears partied hard, Mayor Sam Adams and newly appointed Police Chief Mike Reese swooped into the Q-Center to announce new measures to bring safety to the queer community, and gays gathered to sell their goods at a bar.

Mayor Sam Adams descended into the halls of the Q-Center to announce the newest steps the city and Portland Police are taking to promote safety for the queer community. Every time we think this horrific saga might just end, there’s another wonderful wrinkle. Local station KGW aired an interview with Breedlove wherein the young man expresses anger over more of Sam Adams lying and evasion.

Oregon Attorney General John Kroger just released a report today proclaiming that there is not suffucient evidence to pursue any criminal charges against Mayor Sam Adams (PDF).
“We have concluded that there is no evidence to charge, let alone convict, Adams with illegal sexual contact with a minor,” according to Kroger’s investigation.

This week has produced some updates in the ongoing Mayor Sam Adams/Beau Breedlove inquiry when The Oregonian published a story chronicaling Adams’ 33 phone calls to the underage Breedlove.
