Once again, Cafeteria was off the hook.
For the second time, the last-thursday-of-the-month dance night graced the streets of North Portland at the lovely Vendetta bar.

 We are still working on processing the last, epic Pride weekend. We had so much fun! Thank you for everyone who came out and supported us. In Other Words will soon be featuring a coffee shop! Hot and fresh - News has it that a new coffee shop will be opening inside In Other Words, everyone’s favourite feminist bookstore! It’l be called “Tuff Luck” and serve coffee and other hot drinks and coffee related, well, products. Not much info is forthcoming yet, but they are planning on holding events to garner funds to pay for licensing. While we are still dealing with the shambles left behind of a fantastic Pride, we are also hearing about gay bashings of queer/trans people here in our fair city and community. It's Portland Gay Pride – Parade Time! We’re nearing the end now folks! But there are still a few opportunities to get down and dirty and maybe even shake your tailfeather… Sunday is of course the day of the Pride Parade, which starts *around* 11:15 – Sunday corner of Broadway and Davis and goes down to the waterfront/Tom McCall Park.
