 I had this foggy notion i went BENT at faggy nation! It hasn’t been long since the Blue Parrot first fluttered it’s way into many a Portland gay’s party calendar. A little off the beaten track and tucked away pretty far up north, no one could predict that this local neighbourhood bar would turn into the party location motivating deepest SE bound queers (me) to hoof on up north. (Which [...] funner than this One of Portland’s favourite queer nights, gaycation, is turning an amazing, post toddleresque total of 4 years old! Given the short lifespan of queer nights in this city, we’re very happy that Gay Cay is around and going stronger ever. Come celebrate with Mr Charming, DJ Snowtiger and special guest KIM ANN FOXMAN (of Hercules & Love Affair). Expect tunes that will keep you on the dancefloor, wall [...] Pop Tart Kittehs might show up too Come out and shake your tailfeather with some queer girls (and other fine people)! DJ Nolita and Chelsea Starr will be on the decks, and there will be a signature $3 cocktail until 11pm. The best way to beat this windy cold weather is to come out and have a dance! BOYJOY and DJ GIRLFRIENDS are special guests! It’s time to get out your best, most gaytriotic partywear and saunter down to Holocene for some of that yum, yum Gaycation Fruit Flavour! This is truly a special GayCay, featuring DJ’s Snowtiger and Mr. Charming, along with up-and-coming pop hunks BOYJOY. We love BOYJOY since we first saw them at the Athens Boys Choir gig @ Dunes! One third of BOYJOY, DJ Girlfriends [...] Double Down makes for a nice pillow too, ha!
