Sword and Fern's Mt. Saint Helen's Necklace and Same Dream Necklace
Um, so gee, we’re late this week. I hope that doesn’t mean you missed the 2nd installment of the new queer night Cafeteria at my local Vendetta last night. I sure didn’t. While I didn’t see any lunch trays (get on it boys! Atmosphere!) I saw plenty of crunk gays getting down on that tiny dancefloor. The music was [...]
 STLS
Check out the drumazingness put forth by local queerions STLS. Their genre-making drumcore duo, comprised of Lisa Schonberg (Explode Into Colors) and sts (The Haggard, Cadallaca) will blow your mind away with their dueling kits.
The pair are going on tour on the west coast this September to celebrate the upcoming release of their 7″ (I didn’t even know anyone still did that…) on Sept 7th on Kill Rock [...]

A-Wol Dance Collective presents Art in the Dark – Fit, beautiful amazing women dancing and flying through the air. And I hear that background looks like a giant fabric vagina.
Whip Cream Olympics at Red Cap – Yet another Red Cap party that some will be titillate some and disgust others, this is a week long championship of [...]
The crowd held up fingers to signify which contestant's booty they thought bounced the best.
I used to live a few blocks away from Porky’s and remember happening across the awesomeness that was Booty. Stars aligned last night as the old crew (now geographically scattered) hosted a fabulous reunion party complete with a booty-bouncing contest and double dutch jump roping! Check out pics here.
Be sure to catch Booty DJs Puppet [...]
Just some of the super hot go go dancers, Chase Bender, Chance McKinsey, & Storm Titley, appearing at Queer Cornucopia
Looks like we are all finally recovered from Pride, because the weekends are back. There’s more than enough to keep you busy but the most exciting reunion of this week (cuz, yeah, there’s more comin’ up) is the return of Puppet and Stormy‘s Booty: Queer as Ye Be. But the [...]
 Portland Weather…it's getting better!
Do I dare post this? Hard to believe, but the weather forecast for tomorrow is up to a staggering 94 degrees! Considering I was having drinks with a friend at the Bye and Bye last week and could see my breath, this is unbelievable.
Time for a quick-and-dirty summer guide to queer Portland.
Ah, beach life. A great place to go and be amongst your fellow queers [...]
California gays so hot they'll melt your popsicle
In honor of San Francisco Pride, summer, and the 4th of July, I simply must share the latest, gayest internet meme (even if we did only here it about 1o times on our Cali road trip…I really expected about 100 but I could have been too drunk to remember). Oh yeah, and they kick some gay NYC ass…

It was beach meets Stark Street. Palm trees meets go-go dancers.
Host Mendy brought the long-desired beach weather inside to the steamy interiors of Red Cap Garage. Here are some pics from Friday night’s adventure.
Go to QPDX’s Flickr page for a view of all the pics.

Variety shows, drag and performance art in Portland can be hit or miss. For as many mind-blowing acts, there are long drawn out talent shows featuring more talking than artistry. But local (and NICE) drag diva Artemis Chase has hit on something fabulous with this year’s Miss Thing so I have no doubts that tomorrow’s Peep Show will be equally worth seeing.
I was just discussing how Portland’s [...]
Hosted by the austere and delicious Artemis Chase
In case you missed last night’s alt-queer raging sweat fest at Rotture, I was there with my camera! Artemis Chase and Ecstasy Inferno performed for the mob and DJs Airick, Kinetic, Jodi Bon Jodi, Trans Fat, iL Camino, Yer Momm, and Banana Juice Jiggle mixed awesome tracks for the undulating masses.
